Terms of Service

1. What myTiny is

myTiny is online software that helps playschools, preschools and daycares manage admissions, fees, ID cards, events and communication with parents. Each school gets its own area at mytiny.in/its-name. In these terms, "we" means myTiny, and "you" or "the school" means the school that registered and the people it gives logins to.

2. Your account

• The person who registers the school must be allowed to act for it and becomes the school's owner on myTiny.
• Keep the information you give us accurate, and keep passwords private. You are responsible for the logins you create for your staff and parents.
• Tell us straight away at hello@mytiny.in if you think someone has used your account without permission.

3. Free trial, plans and payment

• Every school starts with a free trial. No card is needed.
• After the trial, the school can choose a paid plan. Prices are shown in the school's account under Plans and are paid in advance for a month or a year.
• If a plan is not paid, the school's account first becomes read-only (you can still view and export your data) and is later suspended. We will email the owner before each step.
• Refunds are explained in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Your school's data

The information your school adds (students, parents, staff, fees, photos and so on) belongs to your school. We only use it to run myTiny for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export your data at any time, including while your account is read-only.

5. Children's information and consent

• Before you add a child's details or photos to myTiny, your school must get the consent of the child's parent or guardian, as required by India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
• Only add information you need to run your school. Do not add Aadhaar numbers.
• Photos are visible only to parents by default. Only make an album public if you have permission to show those photos publicly.

6. Fair use

You agree not to:

• use myTiny for anything illegal, harmful or misleading;
• try to see or change another school's data, or test our security without written permission;
• send spam through myTiny, or overload or copy the service;
• resell myTiny without an agreement with us.

7. Our service

We work hard to keep myTiny available, secure and backed up every day. Sometimes we need short maintenance breaks, and like any online service it can occasionally be unavailable. We add and improve features over time; features marked "coming soon" are not yet part of any plan.

8. Cancelling and closing an account

• You can stop using myTiny at any time. Your paid plan runs until the end of the period you paid for.
• We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or is not paid, after telling the owner by email.
• When an account is closed we keep the data for a limited time so you can export it, then delete it. Backups are removed within 30 days after that.

9. Responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses (such as lost profits), and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the fees your school paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in an important way, we will email school owners at least 15 days before the change applies.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
